Taqueria San Marcos is the most understated taco joint on the list, which is excellent for those who know about it because it’s Cincinnati’s best-kept secret. Taqueria San Marcos, located in Norwood, serves some of the city’s most authentic tacos.
This establishment resembles a 1950s restaurant in the interior. It’s relaxed, inviting, and comfortable. Furthermore, the service is always excellent, and the rates are reasonable. You’d be crazy not to visit this site if you’re looking for authenticity.

Taqueria Mercado
Taqueria Mercado is another fantastic option for tacos and margaritas. This Downtown restaurant is always busy throughout lunch and supper, and for a good reason: the tacos are amazing. The barbacoa taco is our particular favorite, but if you have a chance, you should also try the fried pork and shredded chicken.
The service is quick, pleasant, and efficient, in addition to their delicious food. Even when the restaurant is packed, finding a seat is usually not a problem.

Nada
Nada is the next stop on our tour, and it’s one of the most visually appealing taco joints we’ve seen. Nada, which has both indoor and outdoor seating and is one of the city’s most popular taco joints, is located in the heart of Downtown.
Grilled Mahi, carne asada, Baja fish, pig belly, and more are among the meats available to add to your tacos on their menu. They serve a range of margaritas and beverages that go well with the tacos.

Mazunte is one of the most popular taco joints outside of Downtown. This restaurant, located between Oakley and Madisonville, is usually always packed for dinner on any given weeknight.

Condado
Condado is the most popular spot for tacos near The Banks. Condado offers tacos in a Tex-Mex style restaurant with lots of seats and a unique décor, located across the street from the Reds stadium. Massive murals and other works of art adorn the walls, giving the space a distinct feel.
Condado is unique in that you can order pre-made tacos or make your own from scratch, choosing which meats, cheeses, and salsas to include. The cost of a taco varies between $3 and $5.
They’re also open until 2 a.m. every night of the week, so if you’re near the riverside late at night and craving a taco, you know where to go.

Bakersfield is next on our list. Bakersfield, located in the center of OTR, is famous for three things: tacos, whiskey, and tequila.
This spot is almost always packed and requires you to wait for a seat due to its convenient location and tasty tacos. However, the majority of customers believe that the wait is worthwhile because their food is so excellent.

Drunken Tacos is one of the top taco joints on the University of Cincinnati campus. The tacos are delicious, the service is prompt, the pricing is reasonable, and the atmosphere is warm and friendly.

If you’re searching for a spot to get some tacos in Newport, right across the Ohio River, La Mexicana is the place to go.
Without a doubt, this restaurant serves some of the best authentic tacos and other Latin-inspired foods in or around Queen City. The rates are reasonable, the food portions are big, and you’ll almost certainly return to this restaurant after your first visit.

Veracruz is a must-try for anyone searching for a wonderful family-run taco eatery in Price Hill. This large restaurant has plenty of seating, quick service, and even an outdoor terrace where you can sit and enjoy the weather when it’s pleasant outside.
The chicken and barbacoa tacos are our personal favorites, but you can’t go wrong with anything on the menu.

Tortilleria Garcia is arguably the greatest location to get tacos in the northern suburbs of Cincinnati. This taco stand, located in the middle of Springdale, serves some of the city’s most genuine Mexican meals.
On Tuesdays, they have tacos for a ridiculously low price of $2 apiece.

Next on the list is Gutierrez Deli, a taco joint that has received outstanding reviews after only one visit. Gutierrez has a relatively modest menu in Covington, Kentucky, yet it serves some of the most authentic tacos and quesadillas you’ll find anywhere.
Aside from the delicious cuisine, the service is always polite and prompt, and the rates are more than reasonable. Simply told, this location has a lot to offer.
