The Top 46 Coffee Shops in Cincinnati – A Complete Guide for Coffee Lovers!

Laura Williams

According to a coffee lover, “Starting a bad day with coffee is better than a good day without it,”

Coffee is a popular beverage, and I enjoy it as well. In fact, coffee is such an essential part of my daily routine that I decided to visit every independent coffee shop in Cincinnati.

When I first started my study, I was astounded by how many different coffee shops there were throughout the city. Some were modest, quiet shops, while others were multi-level establishments with plenty of seating. Some specialized in baked goods, while others offered to infuse a shot of bourbon into your drink, and one even had a resident rabbit in their courtyard that you could pet.

Simply put, Cincinnati offers a huge number of excellent coffee shops. Whether you are searching for a place to get some work done, a place to meet a buddy, a place to enjoy a caffeinated beverage, or a place to hold a meetup, Cincinnati has plenty of coffee shops where you can do all these things.

In this post, I highlight over 45 of the best coffee shops in Queen City. Best of all, each of these establishments has a larger selection of coffee than Starbucks.

The Main Cup, a coffeehouse in downtown Milford is undoubtedly one of the most popular spots to have a coffee and some brunch in the neighborhood; It is next on the list.

This location is ideal for catching up with friends over a small lunch or a cup of coffee, but it is also a terrific site to get some work done. The Main Cup features a welcoming atmosphere and consistently excellent service. Furthermore, there is generally lots of free street parking near the shop.

Trailhead Coffee, located within the Reser Bicycle Outfitters in Newport, is Cincinnati’s best-kept secret. This shop is fascinating as it has a ride-up window where, during the warmer months, you can really ride up to the glass and get a drink.

The Brownpow, a strong Americano, and the Cafe Miel, a latte with honey and a sprinkle of cinnamon, are two of the shop’s most popular drinks.

Urbana Cafe, which has two locations, serves some of Cincinnati’s most extraordinary coffee. In East Walnut Hills, their initial place is unique as it has no wi-fi, allowing you to stop in and enjoy a drink with a buddy without having to use the internet.

Because they do not have wi-fi, this is not a great place to get work done, but it’s a nice place to stop in for a cup of coffee on the way to work or to hang out with a friend or two over a drink.

In Pendleton, Urbana Cafe also offers a more aimed facility toward folks looking to get some work done, with additional seating and free wi-fi.

This location features a unique arrangement with many tables, a few bar stools, and a second floor that is ideal for anyone wishing to work on their laptop. Like the one in East Walnut Hills, this cafe has a fantastic range of coffees, teas, and baked goodies.

This site features a beautiful 3-D tour of the shop.

Newtown residents’ favorite coffee store is Village Coffee Shop. This fantastic coffee shop has much more to offer its customers, with a wide selection of coffees, espressos, lattes, teas, and smoothies. They also provide breakfast and lunch items all day, making this the ideal spot for a bite to eat and a refreshing beverage.

On the west side of Queen City, White Oak Coffee House is one of the coziest, friendliest coffee shops in the city. This shop provides something for everyone, with a menu of excellent, locally sourced pastries as well as a range of coffees and teas.

Although the shop is modest, there is still enough seating, and the enormous windows make it appear larger than it is. If you find yourself on the city’s west side, stop in for a cup of coffee and a scone at this coffee shop.

Finally, Wyoming Community Coffee is one of my favorite coffee places in Cincinnati. This shop, located in the center of the Wyoming area, is quite popular with the residents for all good reasons. The interior is well decorated, with plenty of plants, literature, and art adorning the walls, making it feel warm and welcome from the moment you enter.

With couches, soft chairs, round wooden tables, a long wooden table, and seats along with the front window, this shop has a unique layout.

This establishment offers a diverse variety of food and beverages, as well as prompt and courteous service. Whether you want to meet up with a friend for a cup of coffee or want to peacefully enjoy a coffee, this place will serve the best purpose.
