Yes, exactly. Tacos are famous in Cincinnati. And, fortunately for us, there are numerous excellent locations throughout the city where we can get them.

Taqueria San Marcos
Taqueria San Marcos is the most understated taco joint on the list, which is excellent for those who know about it because it’s Cincinnati’s best-kept secret. Taqueria San Marcos, located in Norwood, serves some of the city’s most authentic tacos.
This establishment resembles a 1950s restaurant in the interior. It’s relaxed, inviting, and comfortable. Furthermore, the service is always excellent, and the rates are reasonable. You’d be crazy not to visit this site if you’re looking for authenticity.

Casa Figueroa is where to go if you like tacos with big murals on the building’s sides. Casa Fig is a Latin-themed restaurant in Pleasant Ridge that serves tacos, quesadillas, nachos, and another Latin-themed cuisine. The restaurant’s fantastic beverage menu matches the restaurant’s traditional cuisine.
Stay for the cuisine and drinks at Casa Fig, which features Mexican folk art, murals, and decor on the walls.

Taqueria Mercado is another fantastic option for tacos and margaritas. This Downtown restaurant is always busy throughout lunch and supper, and for a good reason: the tacos are amazing. The barbacoa taco is our particular favorite, but if you have a chance, you should also try the fried pork and shredded chicken.
The service is quick, pleasant, and efficient, in addition to their delicious food. Even when the restaurant is packed, finding a seat is usually not a problem.

Nada is the next stop on our tour, and it’s one of the most visually appealing taco joints we’ve seen. Nada, which has both indoor and outdoor seating and is one of the city’s most popular taco joints, is located in the heart of Downtown.
Grilled Mahi, carne asada, Baja fish, pig belly, and more are among the meats available to add to your tacos on their menu. They serve a range of margaritas and beverages that go well with the tacos.

Mazunte is one of the most popular taco joints outside of Downtown. This restaurant, located between Oakley and Madisonville, is usually always packed for dinner on any given weeknight.
The restaurant itself is relaxed and welcoming, having both indoor and outdoor sitting options. The cuisine is delicious, the pricing is reasonable, and the portions are generous.

Django Western Taco
Look no further than Django Western Taco if you’re looking for a taco in the trendy Northside district.
Django serves a variety of tacos for $4-5 apiece in a casual, laid-back setting. The service has always been excellent, and the food has always been of excellent quality.

Condado is the most popular spot for tacos near The Banks. Condado offers tacos in a Tex-Mex style restaurant with lots of seats and a unique décor, located across the street from the Reds stadium. Massive murals and other works of art adorn the walls, giving the space a distinct feel.
Condado is unique in that you can order pre-made tacos or make your own from scratch, choosing which meats, cheeses, and salsas to include. The cost of a taco varies between $3 and $5.
They’re also open until 2 a.m. every night of the week, so if you’re near the riverside late at night and craving a taco, you know where to go.

Bakersfield is next on our list. Bakersfield, located in the center of OTR, is famous for three things: tacos, whiskey, and tequila.
This spot is almost always packed and requires you to wait for a seat due to its convenient location and tasty tacos. However, the majority of customers believe that the wait is worthwhile because their food is so excellent.

Drunken Tacos is one of the top taco joints on the University of Cincinnati campus. The tacos are delicious, the service is prompt, the pricing is reasonable, and the atmosphere is warm and friendly.
If you go here on game day to get a bite to eat before a UC football or basketball game, be prepared to wait.

If you’re searching for a spot to get some tacos in Newport, right across the Ohio River, La Mexicana is the place to go.
Without a doubt, this restaurant serves some of the best authentic tacos and other Latin-inspired foods in or around Queen City. The rates are reasonable, the food portions are big, and you’ll almost certainly return to this restaurant after your first visit.

Gomez Salsa is the next stop on our list of the finest taco spots in Cincinnati. Gomez is known for serving tacos in “turtle” shells, which they describe on their website as: “We take a burrito-sized tortilla, stuff it with all the goodies – rice, beans, sour cream, lettuce, salsa, meat, veggies, cheese, or anything else you’d like – then we seal it all up with an extra cheesy, tostada crunch!”
These tacos are very delectable. When you visit, don’t forget to order a beverage or a margarita to accompany your meal.

Frida 602, located over the Ohio River in Covington, Kentucky, is another excellent place to have tacos and cocktails.
The stunning presentation of its cuisine complements Frida 602’s lovely decor. You can see that the crew takes delight in producing excellent tacos and other Latin-inspired dishes, and just one visit will make you want to return.

Veracruz is a must-try for anyone searching for a wonderful family-run taco eatery in Price Hill. This large restaurant has plenty of seating, quick service, and even an outdoor terrace where you can sit and enjoy the weather when it’s pleasant outside.
The chicken and barbacoa tacos are our personal favorites, but you can’t go wrong with anything on the menu.

Tortilleria Garcia is arguably the greatest location to get tacos in the northern suburbs of Cincinnati. This taco stand, located in the middle of Springdale, serves some of the city’s most genuine Mexican meals.
On Tuesdays, they have tacos for a ridiculously low price of $2 apiece.

Next on the list is Gutierrez Deli, a taco joint that has received outstanding reviews after only one visit. Gutierrez has a relatively modest menu in Covington, Kentucky, yet it serves some of the most authentic tacos and quesadillas you’ll find anywhere.
Aside from the delicious cuisine, the service is always polite and prompt, and the rates are more than reasonable. Simply told, this location has a lot to offer.

Lalo is the next person on our list. This restaurant, which is located downtown, is noted for its unique blend of Asian-Mexican comfort food. Quesadillas, tacos, burritos, and more are available on their menu. The tempura fish tacos are our personal favorite, but you’ll enjoy almost everything on the menu.
