Mile 42 Coffee is the newest independent coffee business in Cincinnati, located in Downtown Loveland and named after the nearest mile marker on the Loveland Bike Trail.
The store is owned by a family with extensive connections in the town, which easily aligns with their objective of establishing a place where friends, family, and neighbors can come and enjoy a cup of coffee.
The shop itself is huge, with high ceilings, a natural ambiance, and a relaxing atmosphere that literally invites you to come in and spend some time there.
The huge array of seats, which includes a large wooden bench, a couch area, numerous smaller tables, and a room having a sliding door towards the front of the shop that allows even more space, is one of our favorite features of this shop.
The rustic yet comfortable vibe is enhanced by the combination of wooden floors, exposed brick walls, and an incredible variety of plants dispersed throughout the store.
But it’s not just the atmosphere we like about this place; the cuisine and drinks are also fantastic!
Traditional hot coffee, iced coffee, espresso, cappuccinos, Americanos, teas, and other beverages are among the selections on their menu. All of them go great with their baked items.
The blueberry muffin with dark roast coffee was our particular favorite.
Mile 42 offers an experience comparable to Wyoming Community Coffee for individuals familiar with other independent coffee shops in Cincinnati — a spacious business with plenty of seating that is ideal for almost any occasion.
Whether you want to grab your caffeine fix on the way to work in the morning, catch up with friends’ group over a cup of coffee, or work on your laptop, Mile 42 is the perfect place to do so.
The shop is also in a convenient location. Because it’s just off the Loveland Bike Trail and within walking distance of several fantastic restaurants, parks, breweries, and the Little Miami River, we can easily see this shop becoming a go-to spot (especially on weekend mornings) for people to start their day with a morning brew before visiting other spots along the bike path.
Mile 42 Coffee is a welcome addition to Queen City’s growing list of small and independent businesses.
There is much more to like about this coffee shop, from the welcoming atmosphere to the high-quality coffee to the courteous staff to the beautiful purpose of bringing people together via coffee.
